New Findings on Plants Recession Proof characteristics

After thorough research and many nights of testing by the MyPlant™ team into rumours that Plants might be recession proof some preliminary findings are beginning to emerge.

Hello All,

I am sure everyone is just getting ready for a slow if not easy end to 2008. However we would like to share some of our research findings with you before you do and as plant people we can collectively begin 2009 with something to watch out for.

After thorough research and many nights of testing by the MyPlant™ team into rumours that Plants might be recession proof some preliminary findings are beginning to emerge. MyPlant™ cannot take any responsibility for the findings of this research and any conclusions drawn from our approach must be at the risk of readers.

The first phase of this privately funded research was to observe if the current reported down turn in international economies was having any effect on the interaction between humans and plants and if plants find us less attractive or socially less acceptable. To further this study MyPlant™ researchers made field visits to likely places where Plant and Human could interact in a positive social way.

We won’t bore you with the details of our findings but they are conclusive. Our studies have shown that plants have displayed conclusive proof that they are no less attracted to us because we are fiscally challenged. In fact we have evidence to prove that there are plants that could help us feel more at home in their presence and are willing to move into our living, work and leisure spaces in a most accommodating manner. We also believe we have found proof that there are plants out there who are even more reasonable in their fiscal requirements than ever before and unlike the boom-babies they are not very high maintenance.

Using this information and market opportunity we are going all out in 2009 to find the right humans to match up with our plants. As you can see from the attached pictorial evidence we have some positive signs that while both life forms still tend to cluster somewhat there is some hope that the human form is showing a little more willingness to mingle more party less and experiment more with a mixed life form relationship.  We believe this will result in a healthier lifestyle, less stress and health problems through a new sharing of cultural experiences.

We hope you will share these findings with your network of contacts and forward these interesting findings to them. Please spread the news it can only have positive effect worldwide.

If we can get more funding through the matching up of MyPlant™ and human partners we hope to continue the second phase of this research in Spring 2009 when both partners will be more comfortable together outdoor at barbeques and family get-togethers.

Hopefully by releasing our findings through this press release we might get further anecdotal or proven evidence to support our research and the general public might be made aware of this benefit laden  characteristic of plants.

We at MyPlant™ are interested in hearing if other such research is being carried out by gardeners, home owners, nurseries and garden centres worldwide.

Yours sincerely,
Pat FitzGerald
on behalf of
The MyPlant Team.
